The Joys of Cross-Country Running

The kids didn't have school today, but Michael did have a cross-country meet at the Perry Outdoor Fitness Center. Of course it rained. Most cross-country meets this fall have been rainy, muddy, mucky, and occasionally miserable, and today was no exception. But Michael perseveres despite mud, misery, and frustration. Kudos to you, Mike.

Look at those feet and you will see what I mean about the weather. The girl in the blue jacket is removing the chip that is tied to Mike's shoe because it gives his official time and must be turned in at the end of the race.
