Stir Fry and other things I stuck in my mouth
Last night, I got a call from my friend who had moved to Janesville, WI a couple years ago. He would be in town but only for a couple days. "Would you like to get together?" "Of course!" After comparing our calendars, we decided on 7 a.m. at IHOP. I got the Senior Omelet. One of the major benefits of getting OLD is that restaurants feel sorry for you and sell you cheap food. Or is it food cheap? Either way, I ate a pepper and spinach omelet with 2 buttermilk pancakes and drank about 2 pots of coffee. I had a great time catching up. I guess it is a sign of our age, but we compared which of our friends died and which were about to die. Between Grim Reaper events, we did talk about our kids and grand-kids. Good thing was none of them is sick.
Tonight I made myself a tofu stir fry over brown rice. Yum, YUM!!! It makes me feel good eating good. But I still eat too much. I wish I had the self control to make me only a Senior portion. Maybe someday. My bosses dad started the Frito company. Yes those Fritos. My boss's sister wrote a book about their dad. That is what I was reading during dinner.
