Passport to Pimlico....

......early start for our flight to Heathrow, followed by an uneventful journey to Pimlico, save an extended detour via Oxford Street because the District and Circle lines are closed this weekend.....eek.

Gear dumped and a long walk along the Thames looking for statues listed in Owen's current book de jour; Charlie Fletcher's Iron Hand....the statues of Boudicca at Westminster and the Sphinx at Cleopatra's Needle on the Embankment were ticked-off, but there are loads more to be bagged on this trip.

Hard lines Wales in the Egg Cup, the gods of injustice, done with Scotland, were clearly toying with poor Cymru today. Yet again, my tip of France for the cup holds true.

Back in the hotel room now with soar sare feet and a carry-oot from M&S......Saturday night in the capital eh?
