Every photo tells a story

...it's been a funny old day Saint.

It has been a funny old day. This morning at 07:30 am I was doing as the Ayatollah ordered, pegging out the washing. I am a mere man with a very poorly hip, but as I was mid pin, as our colonial friends call pegs, A Heron flew bye, almost within touching distance. I love these big old birds. They certainly posess that Dinasaur quality. Look at one of these, and you are looking at a pteradactyl type creature. Of course, I didn't have a camera handy. On my way to the shop where they have more reasons to shop there, a skein of Canada geese went by, honking to their hearts content. There were 2o plus. I did have a camera handy. It was on the passenger seat. Back to the drawing board.
I have seen this image before as I drive past on my way elsewhere. There is usually a gull sitting on a no fishing sign. A blippable shot I have often thought. Regretably, mid-week traffic, prevents me from stopping here. Not so on Saturday. So here it is. The new camera, is not so user friendly, particularly if you are using the manual settings. Onwards and upwards. Vacs commence on 04/11/11. I fear there is a steep learning curve ahead.
Adios.
