Apple Festival
It has been a beautiful autumnal day today, blue sky, sunshine & just a little nip in the air. We had a lovely walk through our historical city, along the river, through the park & ended up at the annual Apple Festival....which incase you hadn't guessed it, was full of all things appleified!
It was like stepping into a scene from Midsomer Murders. In the beautiful grounds of the cathederal, with it's numerous stalls, morris dancers & music playing.....waiting for someone to come a cropper with an apple corer!!
Other things to see included woodturning, bee keeping, apple & spoon race & there were even knitted apples! This picture is from the longest apple peeling competition, the record was currently standing at 4.2m!
