Standing Tall

We had a trip out to Stowe today & visited the landscape gardens there. It is now part of the National Trust & has over 40 temples & monuments to see. This picture is of Lord Cobham's Pillar (it was very tall!), who was instrumental in the design of these gardens.

We enjoyed a lovely autumnal walk through the grounds & stopped to have a picnic by one of the lakes....lovely.

I had to lye down to get this shot......anything in the name of blip!!
