Serenity

Possibly the last day out on the boat this season - we invited a friend who was on her own for the weekend and were delighted to have a mirror like sea. A fleet of yachts were out from the local sailing club making a beautiful picture of different coloured sails. One yacht is called 'woolly knickers' and we often see her on her mooring - her name always raises a smile. It was nice to see her out today with spinnaker billowing....

We have booked a sailing holiday next year which will be quite an adventure for us being accustomed to motor boats, but its on both our bucket lists so has to be done... who knows we may love it...I hope so!!!
