Birds of a feather!

Today we went on a trip with the local RSPB to Rutland Water. It was a lovely day, and we saw lots of fine birds. However, I don't find reserves like these very good for photography as the birds are mostly so far away. One amazing sight which I tried to capture here was over 1000 golden plover taking to the skies, alarmed by who knows what. I've dialed up the colour a bit to try to add to the drama.
