Pretty in Pink

After waiting the whole day for my cat to return from prowling his territory to take a snap of him for my blip, the little bugger decided not to come back until two minutes before I needed to leave to catch my train. So that plan was ruined.

So, I took to frantically photographing things in my parents' house.

My Mum likes to have lots of plants and flowers all around the house, and although I took some really lovely pictures of her hanging baskets of colourful flowers basking in the afternoon sun, I love the deep pink of this lily.

It's been so lovely spending a weekend at home. Such a shame I had to return to Edinburgh today. But Hey Ho, Life goes on...
