The real deal

Few people know that before the advent of Red Bull in Europe Dietrich Mateschitz, founder of the company and one of the richest Austrians alive, teamed up with a Thai investor to make energy drinks known in Europe. Energy drinks were already widely known in Asia at the time. Mateschitz had been a brand manager for toothpaste before, what a coincidence :) :) :)

Spent today on the 47th floor of a downtown Bangkok highrise working frantically and exploring the finer aspects of Thai withholding tax and accounting procedures...more fun tomorrow, I hope.
