Days 6, 7, 8 and 9

Tuesday 11th October:
Today Stacey and I got up early and went for a run, which was really nice. I haven't been running for a while because everything got a bit busy. It is cool enough to run at 6am too. Although the weather today hasn't been great, it has been overcast and a bit cold. Then we came back and showered and chilled out for a little while.
A bit later on we went over to the bar and I helped Stacey to do the stock take and sort things out a bit. Then we came back over to the house and chilled out, then a bit later we went and played tennis again, although I think we laughed more than we actually played . Then Will's cousin Craig came over to talk to Stacey about some building work that he is going to do here and he bought his 3 month old Jack Russell puppy called Chappie with him. This photo is of Chappie. He's a funny little thing, he doesn't sit still for long. Then this evening we had some dinner and then I sat and chatted to Stacey for a long time, which was lovely.
I have to admit thatI've been a bit rubbish at taking photo's everyday, as often I've been inside and not had anything to photograph, also I can't upload my own entries over here as the internet is too slow so I am having to email them to Sam to upload, so I don't get around to doing the straight away either. Anyway here's what I got up to over the next few days too...

Wednesday 12th OCtober
Today we got up early again but we went for a walk just inside the edge of the game reserve. It is a section of the reserve which doesn't have any dangerous game on it, only antelope and giraffe. We decided to go for a walk in the reserve today as it was cool all day yesterday and again this morning, so it was less likely that we would come across snakes. It was lovely. We saw some Zebra , who all kept staring at us. I forgot to take my camera though, so I didn't take a photo of them, I must remember next time.
Then we came back and sorted some things out for Will. Then we had lunch and had a break. After that we went over and set up the Bar for tonight, as it is the social sports evening on a Wednesday. Then came back and had dinner, Siseko had to go into Grahamstown earlier today so he bought us back KFC for dinner, which was really yummy =]. Hehe. Then we went over to the bar. It was quiet tonight as it was raining and so we sat and chatted and a couple of the guys came to play squash and then chatted to us for ages.

Thursday 13th October:
Today I helped Stacey to restock the bar and where everything goes, so that when I'm helping out I know what I'm doing. Then we tidied up around the house and sorted a few things out. We played tennis in the afternoon and then this evening one of Stacey's friends came and picked us up and we went to a little pub in a nearby village. It was really sweet and nice to spend an evening sitting chatting with a couple of girls in a change of scenery.

Friday 14th October:
Stacey went on leave today, so after showing me a few things so that I can help keep on top of things while she's away she packed up her stuff. Will came back from Cape town today and so he came over this afternoon and saw us, just before Stacey left. Then this evening I went over to the bar to help Siseko out, as he was running the bar now that Stacey is away. It was good fun and I spent a lot of time chatting to some of the rangers and getting to know a few more people, which is always nice.
