okay, so while i was no David Attenborough back home in Scotland, i could tell a sparrow from a blue tit. Here, i generally have no idea and just go for the all encompassing-it's-a-colourful-bird term: "parrot". answers on a postcard please.

there were two of these chomping away outside our accommodation today.

and what do you know, it turns out rental houses are like buses - and we were offered another one today! we're sticking with the first offer though and the deposit has been paid. i'm off to see it and measure up on thursday morning - can't wait. and we get it next week!!

and this morning i exercised megadog in quarantine again. she gets no end of attention there it would be seem and was quite happy to drag back to her kennel after her exercise time was up!

cannot wait to be in the new house, with M and M. woohoo.


Edit: i can't believe i just blipped a galah and had no idea it was a galah! 'flamin' galahs'.... thanks to marchmont for clearing that up :)
