spot the budgie smugglers

another day. another beach. this is the life!

so, today, "the wanderlust's beach tours of sydney" presents Cronulla beach. Mitch the Jeep and i headed off to have a wee explore of Cronulla since i didn't have a million errands to run today. nae bad! and sunshine and 25 degrees to top it off. perfecto.

i did feel guilty just heading off to the beach while M is working, but on advice from a good friend of mine at home..."you can suss out all the best spots for M's days off - kind of like when you need to have a taste of a pudding, just to make sure it's okay for everyone else." love it.

so, a wee bit of time lying on the beach reading and soaking it all in, and then a bit of a swim in the ocean. all the locals in their bathers; me, the Scottish lass accustomed to the North Sea, in my wetsuit!! but hey, it's new and i wanted to give it some practise ;)

heard that we get into our house a wee on friday. yahoo.

oh and i did take my slr today hoping to take a nice shot, but turned it on and realised i'd left the memory card at home. so this was taken just before my compact camera displayed 'lens error' and jammed...not a good day for cameras!
