Looks like chaos in HDR

I just did a bit of tone mapping on this one because I took this picture with my compact which cannot do bracketing with various stops.

This is part of the hydraulic regulating system of the main steamturbine of unit EC 20 which is in preservation.
Today we managed to lift the shaft by means of so-called "lifting oil" (140 bar = 2 030.528 332 1 psi).
After that we managed to turn the shaft by hand (went very easy, when you imagine it had been at standstill for about half a year now.

So we decided to satrt up the main oil system to see if we could it on turning gear. No problem!
We did a few check on the oil a few days ago to make sure there was no sludge or whatsoever in the tank.

Tomorrow we do some tests on the main regulating valves in the system.
