DUKW.......

.......spent the morning scooting about Westminster, Mayfair and Lambeth on the road and then down the Thames from Lambeth Bridge to Westminster Bridge on water. The London Duck Tour (WWII amphibious vehicle) is great fun.

After lunch we did the Tate Britain; first time for me. I liked it, but it's not got the appeal of the Tate Modern for my tastes. We intended to get along to the National Portrait Gallery, but ran out of time......pah.

Iron Hand Tour was concluded with Death of Dirce outside the Tate and a better shot of Boudicca at Westminster. I've quite enjoyed using Owen's book as a broad guide to our movements about town.
