......thundering typhoons.......merde. I read Lezard's article in The Grauniad today with growing alarm about the forthcoming Spielbergian brutalities to be inflicted on the George Remi classic. If, like me, you loved the complexity and beauty of Hergé's Adventures of Tintin, then I fear we're about suffer outraged disappointment not witnessed since Bakshi rotoscoped one half of the Lord of the Rings. I've still not forgiven the US for Ray Kroc freezing a Belgian frite and referring to it as a French Fry, this takes the cookie biscuit. Je suis outraged.

Elsewhere, work was quietish and I had a good first meeting with a new colleague who joins us from the wild west.
