Egg Custard Tart

Yesterday I made apple tart with Clare and she mentioned she had never had egg custard tart. So this afternoon while an off-colour Red slept, I made one - along with 24 buns for the Brownies and a surprise birthday cake. From the amount of nomnomnoming going on at Brownies, it was a hit!

Meanwhile we had Bella and Ally's parents evening. We expected Bella's to go well (perfect pupil blahblahblah) but we were delighted that Ally's 2 teachers had nothing but good things to say too! I am so very proud of my 2 brilliant big children!
