Day of food

Elizabeth, Robert and Grandma started the day by going to the park.

They came home and got me and we all went out for lunch. Elizabeth didn't eat anything. She played with a bag of Haribos (didn't have a clue what they were and didn't get to try them anyway) for the whole time we were there.

When we got home, she had grapes, raspberries, bananas and some raisins.

In the afternoon, the children and Grandma made some (Scottish) macaroons. Elizabeth enjoyed eating the mixture, especially the icing sugar. And she rather liked the finished product too!

New development in vocabulary is saying "I am" and the word "not". Apparently she went to sleep saying "I am not Mickey Mouse". (Robert's favourite programme on TV is the Mickey Mouse Club... I'm hoping that telling Elizabeth it has gone with Robert tomorrow will stop her wanting to watch it all the time, I have missed Cbeebies!)
