Blip Meet
This is the road I drove down on my way to Christchurch for a blipmeet.
The South Island (of NZ) had a fairly good dumping of spring snow yesterday, and some pretty torrential rain too. This is what was left behind after the rain. As you can see the weather through the centre of the country (Lewis Pass/Boyle River) was beautiful.
It was wonderful to meet so many blippers today - all from journals I follow. It will be great from here on in to be able to put faces to so many more nom-de-plumes. I talked lots, but didn't get to talk to everyone - perhaps a target for next time.
Thanks to Karenjulia(?) for organising it.
