Kentish Bramley apple crumble. Comfort food.

Marks and Sparks have managed to get planning permission to open a food court on their store at the retail park, not ten minutes walk from my front door. Tonight, we have dined well on their fare. The first course from their outlet in the town centre, and the pudding(afters) from our local retail park. I fully intended not succumbing, but how can you resist such offerings, especially as number 1 daughter decided to treat us. I passed on the chocolate dessert, but thoroughly enjoyed the crumble served with the vanilla flavoured custard. As Oscar would have said, "I can resist everything but temptation." Or something similar. Or was it Mae West. Anyway, I know what they meant. The diet starts after Christmas. Hmmm.
