Russian Oxheart!

This is half of the huge Russian Oxheart tomato that Terry and I shared for lunch just now! It was spectacular....not only in taste, but it was so beautiful inside and outside! We are finally getting to eat the fruits of our labour so to speak....and today, cos it is also warm and sunny, i could pretend that this was a lovely summer's day and cheese and tomato sandwitches are the only way to go!

It's friday, so for all those folks that consider saturday and sunday their days off work...have a good weekend! for the others, like me, who can lollygag on a thursday (i went shopping!!) it means that i'll be working a big junk of the weekend! As i've said before, i just love the seamlessness of working most days, and taking some time of during the week, with the knowledge that i can still take a walk or read my book, even if i'm spending most of the day in the studio.
