How often can you say that about work colleagues?

My work came to me out of the blue. An email amongst the many junks you get, and it caught my eye, because all I could see on my phone was "Vera".

Si was "Vera" in the Navy. Vera Cruz....

I opened it, and read... I said, "ha, I like your job, can we talk. And talk we did. And I left where I was, to come here.

I liked the name. And the name meant a lot to me.

And it's a name that we work by.

We had three of our American Colleagues over this week. And it's been a whirlwind week for them. It's funny having them in the flesh after so many months of Skype Chat.

Tonight, we all sat, with our other halves, (except mine cause he was up a hill), and ate and drunk, and laughed lots and lots.

It was a lovely night, but I think the restaurant staff were glad to see us start to leave!
