Under the spell of The Worst Witch

This is Shortie, who has just discovered books on CD.

In this shot she's both reading, and listening to, The Worst Witch, by Jill Murphy - clearly totally absorbed. It was her bedtime book a few months ago. She's really taken to reading over the last few weeks, which chuffs me to bits :o)

Not the nicest day out, but at least it's dry, so I think we'll brave a trip to the shops for the paper and on to the library (a busman's holiday!)
