Swallows and Amazons

The kids spent this morning making bows and arrows, spears and a flag to fly from their 'fort' on 'the bank' at the back of the garden.

Nevis, as an honorary cousin (or cousdog), assisted where possible.

This afternoon we had granny's (my Mum's) birthday party - sadly I wasn't allowed to blip her blowing out her candles...

Big celebration barbecue for tea, so of course the weather finally broke after a week of sunshine. I barbecued under a very large umbrella.
