Gettysburg

We visited Gettysburg National Military Park today. A truly amazing place. It was the site of the biggest and bloodiest battle of the American Civil War (July 1863). This particular location, where this shot was taken, was considered the "high water mark" of the battle. After almost three days of fighting, it was the last ditch effort of the Confederate Army.

Today it's peaceful and beautiful. We had fabulous weather with a gorgeous sunset.
