Attack of the giggling girls....
Standard start to the day....breakfast at Denny's.
Then deposited the girls at the pool while the boys headed in search of guitar shops. Armed with Google Search, Google Maps and Google Navigation, we set off in the direction of a vintage guitar shop north of the strip.
Found it, but it had closed down.
Next nearest on Google Maps was west...so we set off again...closed down too :(
Getting desperate, store #3 was down by the airport. We fund it. This is obviously part of a large chain, which has put everyone else out of business.
Eubers found the "acoustic room", and played every one there. They even had fully carbon fibre acoustic guitars.
I went off an browsed basses (I could have saved a bit on my Stingray), pro audio and PA.
The shop was in the Town Square, a new shopping complex frequented by locals.
Picked up the girls, and headed back to the Yard House, with the worlds largest number of beers on tap. K and Gortex drank cocktails (as usual), but not as giggly????
Headed back to the strip for some casino walking and searching for bikini clad dancers. 1st stop, MGM. But the lions were already in bed :(.
Over to New York New York to ride the roller coaster. But it was closed :(.
Walked through Excalibur, The Luxor and headed to my old haunt, the Mandalay Bay. Got to the Ice Bar. So dressed up in long parkas and gloves, and sat in the ice house for cocktails. Even the glasses were made of ice. That certainly woke us up!!!
So with a fresh wind, headed on into the Mandalay Bay and sat and watched a band till 2AM when K fell asleep on the table :) So we dragged her for the 30min walk back to the car....latest night so far!
