The fading light
Back blipped yesterday, as it was such a busy day.
Last day of the holiday. A long lie after last night's epic session. Decided on a change from Denny's so walked to IHOP (International House of Pancakes) for breakfast. K was so shattered, she just went to the pool. It was about 1.5mile walk each way, so we didn't feel too bad having another "American Portion" breakfast.
Deposited Gortex at the pool, and the boys headed off to the Red Rock Canyon. Eubers scrambled over some rocks and looked interested. There was a 13 mile round trip road. We stopped at the first few parking areas, but speeded off towards the end.
Went back down to the Town Center again, and had the nicest meal of the holiday at Brio Tuscan Grille. K pronounced she was too tired....so we dropped her off for an early night.
Unfortunately, Gortex decided to stay on, so that cramped Eubers and my style :).
So we set off on a grand tour of all the casinos we hadn't visited.
First a walk through Treasure Island. Stumbled (somehow) on the Pussycat Dolls area. Guess what? Dancing Girls!
Headed on to Bills Gambling hall, followed by Paris.
Gortex was keen to go up the 3/4 size Eiffel tower! Fantastic views from the top.
On to Planet Hollywood, Ballys, Flamingo's, O'Shea's and then a final walk home with very sore feet.
There's a definite theme though for dancing bikini girls next to the tables...maybe to distract the punters attention when playing cards?
A different colour bikini at ever stop.
Life's going to be very boring when we get back home.
