Luik/Liège Day 2

Liège is at the base of the Ardennes. After several hours (and I guess, some 20 km's) we decided we had walked too far and were only halfway. As people started to warn us for hunters in the woods, we thought it may be best to take the bus back to the car. And so we did. But is was a beautiful walk.

At night we had a fabulous and surprising (because we did not know what to expect) dinner in a nice small restaurant in Liège: Alter Ego. If you are ever in Liège, go there, it will not disappoint.
