Thierry Henry

So Sunday returns, & it had been three weeks since I had last walked into the Home of Football as i had missed last Sundays game due to a family meal. I felt the buzz straight away, I know it was only stoke but it was football. The game was good & am so glad we won, especially when Man Utd lost. Now I'm happy they lost, but I'm not happy that my Man Utd friends had to suffer a 6-1 defeat at home. There are some Man Utd fans who I'm glad had to suffer through that, but none are my friends.

I've refused to gloat to many of them, a) because it wasn't my team that beat them, & b) I don't like it when people gloat at embarrassing losses like that to me, so why would I do the same?

I'm writing this on Monday when every man utd fan whom I have seen has told me not to say anything before I've even opened my mouth! They seemed genuinely shocked when I say 'Tough Luck' & give them a pat on the back. I bet they won't do the same when it comes to my team losing. :-(
