Monte Carlo or bust.

Drreadful first night on board, didn't sleep a wink, our new cabin is above the engines and all I could here was the engines noise plus a horrible smell of diesel, felt quite sick, couldn't eat breakfast., so went up to reception and asked for an upgrade, cost 190 euros but a better cabin on a higher deck.

We docked at Villefranche, and headed to Monte Carlo. I didn't realise how small the principality was. We were able to afford a sandwich and a cup of coffee, had a mooch round, saw the trophies in the showroom of Renault.

Our cabin steward is a lovely man from Goa, and every night he will make a different sculpture out of the towels.MonteCarlo
