More Calgary downtown art!!

The badlands of Alberta, not very far to the NE from here, have yileded a wealth of fossils including some fantatstic dinosaus skeletons. Many are now housed in theThe Royal Tyrrell Museum, definitely worth a visit if you come to Calgary.

Calgary is a also an Oil and Gas town and so there are many geologists and geophysicists to be found here. As a result there are many subtle references to dinosaurs and fossils and this piece of art is one such example.
