Arriving at Jelling Musikfestival

So today we left to join Jelling Musikfestival. Thursday it is time for a lot of people to arrive and there is a talent competition for bands in the local area. The winning band gets to play at the stage friday when the festival really has started.

To make things easy we had bought a tent at Camp D'angle Tyra, which is a camp of 300 tents that the festival puts up ahead of time, so when you arrive you just move in to a tent that is already there. And they serve breakfast on the bed as they say, it's actually bags with morning bread, butter, jam, cheese, knifes and napkins at the entrance to the tent, but saves you a walk to town to visit the bakery. I arrived thursday a little after noon to check in so we got a tent at the edge of camp, close to everything but in the direction that people only walk if they have a reason to. I couldn't have picked a better spot for it myself.

In the evening I went to pick up my friend at the airport and after moving in I took this picture. It was a really nice evening with happy people around us and music in the background.
