Went to England today.

A visit to the Baltic where the Turner Prize has arrived for a jaunt out of the capital and its first time at a non-Tate Venue. I do believe that it is also the first time that there has been no entrance fee to this annual exhibition. The above is a still of a painting by George Shaw in a short film featuring all four nominated artists and as you sup your coffee you can turn up or down your personal table-top speaker. I would advise that you turn it down.

Also on at that Baltic is (in my humble opinion) a brilliant, great show by Mike Kelley and Michael Smith. Kelley and Smith are two US artists who have collaborated on a bambouzling, stimulating, loud, visually rich, exciting installation that I will definitely be back to see again. GO!!
