Smoke on the Water

Taken as we were walking to the bus stop on our 2nd full day at Disney World. It was much colder than usual last week, so the heated pool actually let off visible steam in the mornings. A really cool effect, and I'm chuffed that I managed to take a picture in which you can actually see it! (I've also just noticed that I inadvertently got a reflection in the pool too! What a fortunate accident.)

We spent the early part of our day in Animal Kingdom (which made this a very tough day to blip - hard to choose between this shot and a bunch of gorgeous wildlife pictures!), then rested up at the room before pigging out at Ghirardelli and waiting around for my brother to arrive.

I was SO excited to see my brother! It had been months since we'd had any more communication than a 10 minute talk on the phone. And because we were sharing a room, we stayed up most of every night watching Phineas & Ferb, talking, eating, or playing in the hotel arcade. Seeing him get off the bus that night made me so happy I nearly teared up.
