Granny and Grandpas
Went up to Wiltshire today to see my Granny and Grandpa which was lovely. Mum was at uni though so it was just myself, Dad, Lydia and Bridget. But it was lovely all the same.
We don't get to see them too much any more which is a shame. They used to live quite a lot closer, but they decided to move up to wiltshire a few years back. I mean it's a lovely place where they are and the house is nice and stuff, but it is really out of the way and makes seeing them a bit more difficult.
Travelling up normally isn't too bad though, today there were a few more trafficky problems. We avoided them, but did mean going through back roads a lot to the displeasure of Dad's sat-nav. However we got there earlier than expected in the end and had a lovely time up there. We also popped in on my uncle on the way home to have a look round his new house which he seems to be very pleased with and rightfully too. For his first 'own' home it's not bad going! Being with the army, I don't think he's ever bought a house before really, but they had to move out of his army accommodation, and bought this new place in Andover, which is quite respectable.
Anyways I won't waffle for too long, cause i've just seen the time and i've found out I have the dentist in the morning, alongside the work I have to get done tomorrow. I took this photo at Granny and Grandpas, in their garden. The weather was really wet at times, but we did have a quick chance for a wander round their garden. It was a really cosy day altogether though, bought some more of my special rooibos tea too and introduced that to granny, who liked it!
