Homemade.
Think I mentioned yesterday, but I had the dentist this morning. It went fine as usual, i've never really had any problems with my teeth other than the fact that i drink a little too much tea and coffee, and they're not the purest white. But that doesn't mean they're yellow or black in any means of the word.
Anyways after that I came home and started tidying my room a bit, I had this MASSIVE pile of paper and started putting it into smaller piles, as you do. Put quite a bit into the recycling, and the other piles are yet to be tidied away into another secret place where they'll hide for a while.
For lunch though, I had a bit of a late lunch, but I decided to make some homemade soup. It was such a lovely cold rainy day today. (I even wore wellies to the dentist!) And I made my Carrot and Ginger soup, which i've made once or twice before. It turned out pretty nicely again, really lovely to eat fresh and it tastes so much better than out of a tin. it's arousing. I took a few photos as I was going along, and this was quite intriguing, it's just some chopped red onion and pickled ginger with ground ginger too. I was meant to use fresh root ginger, but we didn't have any. I didn't use a real lemon either, and also substituted garlic paste for the real thing as we'd run out. The joys of a store cupboard eh'!
(sorry about the 'arousing', my friend challenged me to use that word at some point in this write-up. Don't ask me why, he's weird...)
