Small, but perfectly formed . . . .

. . . meet Brown Dog Jnr!!!

This is Chester. I know what you might be thinking - and no, I haven't washed Austin in hot water and shrunk him - there's a new kid in town! He's one member of a duo that have come into my life recently that I'm rather taken with and well . . . who wouldn't be!?

At 4 months old, this little guy is every girl's perfect gentleman. He's handsome, athletic, affectionate, enthusiastic and just about house-trained. You can't ask for much more. Being a typical spaniel and a browndog in the making, he also has a wonderful sense of humour and a massive sense of fun.

We spent a few days this week in Dorset with both brown dogs and spent ages soaking up the fresh sea air (and rain), playing on the beach and just generally having some fun. Austin has taken Chester under his wing and is teaching him the ways of the brown dog - a bit like a canine Mr Miyagi and his Karate Kid. It's only going to be a matter of time before he can paint a fence, wax a car (on and off) . . . and catch flies with chopsticks.

It looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship . . . . go back in time for a couple more shots from the trip!
