Donkey Haughty?

The people of Morocco would be lost without their four-legged friends. They're reliable, strong, plucky and surefooted and these guys clearly take good care of them. They can't afford not to.

This rather cute chap was relaxing in the shade of a palm tree on our walking route. He was more than happy to show us his good side for photos and accept a friendly pat on his big soft nose. He seems very content, and it appears he has seen tourists come . . . seen them go!!
