Yosemite Sam

Remember this guy from the Bugs Bunny show? Well I found him this morning on the funnell of the Irish Navy ship the L.E.Orla, which I have blipped begore but which was paying a return visit to Arklow port this morning. Sam was forever shooting off his guns. How he would have fancied this one! Apparently all our navy vessels have Sam on their funnels. I have no idea why and I want no remarks about a cartoon navy or cowboy sailors.

You are not going to believe this but the plumber has gone having pretty well rebuilding our system. At 8pm last night he announced success and left with 806 Euro of our hard earned cash. Not only that but the system is still working. In fairness to him, he did work very hard and managed to keep the place pretty clean as well.
