The sun at last
Oslogians have gone crazy - the sun's come out. Suddenly the driving turns from the sedate law-abiding, pedestrian aware style we have become accustomed to, into screeching, wheel burning, tram obstructing mania.
Apparently this is normal on Fridays, we later find out.
Also normal on Fridays is the sight of 50% of the population being absolutely hammered - wandering out into the tramways, falling out of seats on the buses, shouting and drinking in the streets.
All pretty normal if you're British!
Anyway - today the sun came out for about an hour, late afternoon, and made all the difference to how this city looks. Today we went to the National Gallery where we got told off, and a fantastic restaurant called Maaemo, which is sure to hit the Michelin vein very soon.
