Tall tails

You see lots of these boats along the promenades in Spain ... We tried to guess what they were for or why they were just laying there, beached and forgotten by the local fishermen. Maybe left there by pirates or treasure hunters from another time!

Nope, in fact they are used as barbecues by the local restaurants!! The fact they they all lay beside the said restaurants should have given us a clue ... But I prefer the more romanticised version of swashbuckling pirates and chases on the high seas (not that they would get far in a rowing boat)

It is our last day tomorrow, then homeward bound to London ... It has been an interesting week, loved Malaga all baroque and arty. Fuengirola was more modern and touristy. Torremolinas was dated and tired looking but some interesting parts ... Ate, slept and read the whole week ... Nice, but I will be glad to get home ... y viva Espana and god save the queen ;-) xx
