Gay Paree

Tried to make my room look a bit more chic than it was.

Oooooh it was so not chic. It's a good job the cat didn't smuggle her way into my suitcase as there would have been no room to swing her.
The decor was, um, interesting too.. vaguely African themed. About 10 years ago I suspect.
Ah well, it was Paris (boring exhibition centre bits of it), and it is what it is and it was lovely despite it and because of it :)
