Really lovely lazy day today. We toddled down to the Otumuheke hot water stream. When you look at the stream it looks like every other stream....cold. But once you've got your clothes off and your swimming togs out, and get closer to the water you can feel how hot it is! Further up the stream it's just too hot to sit, but if you go down to where the stream water mixes with the Waikato River it's like sitting in a lovely hot bath. Wonderful! And best of all....it's free!
