Wellington to Kaiteriteri

Took the ferry over the Cook Strait to start our South Island adventure this morning. It was a beautiful day, but windy as! This is because we were experiencing a weather system called 'The Roaring Forties', something I've only read about in accounts of Round-the-World sailing.
