Here's the total

Well this is how things looked this morning after yesterday's storm.

We have been without power now for over 24hrs. The house is getting a bit cold.

There are loads of down branches and trees, lots of closed roads and also lots of sunshine. It's a bit weird driving out in the warm sun knowing that the house is freezing and that we will be without power for several days.

I don't know what the total snowfall was but up on the mountain our snow started in the morning when everyone else was still getting rain. So we had several hours more snow than elsewhere in the local area and our snow wasn't going down on rain puddles either.

We definitely had well over a foot as maybe you can see from the amount on the table and fence.

Ah well. Power will come back eventually. It's getting a bit boring in the house though. 2 kids, my mother is visiting and no power.

Better go... Want to save battery.
