Day forty-two: love and security

My mom came in town this weekend. When Fantine saw her on Thursday night, she just whined and cried. It's been over about a year and a half since she's been around my mom.

It was so sweet and just made me smile.

We went over to J's house to spend some time with her and let the puppies play. I noticed that Fantine kept coming over to sit next to my mom. She just waned to be near her.

There seemed to be a sense of love and security present, and it filled my heart with joy and peace.
