October soup

This weekend has been a big pot of soup....

Evenings of good food and blether with friends.

Birthday cake and laughter.

Decorating. (will it never end? do we really need to do all this prep work, can't we just slap on the paint? aaargh)

Attempting to get through the large pile of work on my desk. Which left NO time for cycling, boo.

Neepy lanterns being hollowed out by Campbell. It's not hard to see where the tradition came from when you see him wielding a knife over a severed head, even if it is just a vegetable one.

Turning the innards of aforementioned severed heads into a warming pot of spicy soup.
