Ninja nights

After days of plans for wild and wonderful halloween costumes, all of which would have worked if he hadn't actually left it til an hour before we were heading out to get it together, all thoughts of zombie hunters and pirate ghosts were abandoned.

Instead, in the best traditions of guisin, a costume was magically produced from his big brothers kick boxing gear, a balaclava, long black socks, black shoes, a couple of belts and some very dangerous looking tin foil swords.... and the ninja went silently into the night.

The moment was somewhat dampened by our friend telling the kids that it would probably be a good idea for them all to wear luminous jackets, at which point we all stuffed her into big bowl of gloop filled with spiders and eyeballs.

Just realised what a brilliant thing blip is when I looked back at halloween costumes over the past few years.
