1. The day starts with cake. Lots and lots of cake.

2. A frantic rush to get out early, we head over to the Lyceum for an event we're running. This is the view I had from my seat in the stalls when I looked up.

3. There's been a lot of preparation for this, but it all goes off well.

4. We head back with a classic touring theatre dinner - bags of crisps and chocolate from a garage.

5. Once home a trip to Little Italy makes amends - a pair of pizzas and a pair of Italian reds.
