Sepia Skies

Was going to wait for a cold and miserable day to cook the Christmas cake, but it seems we are in for a mildish week, so just got on with it today. Four hours of lovely smells coming from the kitchen!

Also finally finished the cardigan I've been knitting since May. It's been a hell of a thing! I have grown to hate it with a vengeance! It has sat in the corner, looking at me, making me feel guilty every time I picked up any sock knitting, and sewing, mending or embroidery. I shall sew its buttons on and post it and hope never to see it again! Luckily the little recipient lives a long way away and so I may not ever have to! Poor child . . . hope she likes it!

On a happier note, we had a wonderful blowy walk round the cliffs this afternoon. Forgot about it getting dark an hour earlier than last week, but we were home before it got too dangerous!
